Keanu Reeves has spoken to the Matrix directors Andy and Larry Wachowski about the possibility of reviving his role as Neo in 2 more Matrix films in 3D.
The Wachowski brothers have been working on two new Matrix scripts and reportedly have been in talks with James Cameron about making the films in 3D.

Bill and Ted are also going to make a comeback as 50 year olds who try to save the world once again, Reeves says. He also knows no plot detail yet but what he’s sure of is “I know there’s going to be a lot of time-travelling.”
Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon are writing the script and Reeves says “They’re taking it into their own hands and writing a script. I haven’t seen it yet.”
Keanu’s latest film is titled ‘Henry’s Crime.’

Many fans are petitioning for Maxwell Reed to play the part of Clary Fray’s best friend Simon in City of Bones.
Reed plays Simon in the new trailer for the City of Fallen Angels book, the fourth book in The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare. Fans have been impressed by model/actor Maxwell Reed and many see him as the perfect candidate to play the quiet, funny, geeky best frien of the flame haired Clarissa Fray.
Lily Collins has already been cast as Clary and TMI fans are eagerly awaiting Alex Pettyfer’s decision to take on the role of the badass Shoadowhunter Jace Wayland.
Julie Newmar - The first Catwoman in the 1960’s television series

Lee Meriweather - from the 1966 Batman film, the first and campest of the Batman movies.

Eartha Kitt - who took over from Newmar in the tv series.

Michelle Pfeiffer - Batman Returns, she is personally my favourite.

Halle Berry - from the film Catwoman

Just want to take the time to thank you all for following this film blog. I hope it’s keeping you guys entertained and it’s useful. If you have any questions about rumours or films or any suggestions like what you would like me to keep an eye on film wise, drop me a line.
Appreciate the follows, you’re awesome!

Reports yesterday said that Alex Pettyfer has been offered the role and negotiations begin later this week, with a decision as early as next week.
MTV started a petition to get the British actor to play Jace Wayland, a Shadowhunter in The Mortal Instruments trilogy. It seems as thought MTV and every Cassandra Clare fans pleas to get Pettyfer as the Shadowhunter with the looks of an angel and a roguish attitude, have been heard.
Cassandra Clare has said: ‘I wanted to wait till I could have an official chat with the studio folks before I said anything, somy small contribution is: I know Alex has met with the director, Scott Stewart, several times; I know he read the TMI books over the holiday sand really liked them and liked Jace, and his representatives are negotiating making a deal for the role of Jace. At this point it’s all about the deal, which really doesn’t have anything to do with me, so I stand back and wait for news like the rest of you.’
I know that TMI fans won’t budge from their computers just incase Alex makes his decision.
If the news is good, we can throw a party Magnus Bane style (minus anyone turning into a rat) and if the news is bad well we’re going to go on the rampage like Valentine at a Downworlder rave.

Before we have the 2011 Oscars on the 27th of February we have the BAFTA’s on the 13th of February. Dominic Cooper (Mamma Mia) and Talulah Riley (St.Trinians) host this years awards.

HPDH part 1 has been nominted twice in the Bafta list of nominees.
The film is nominated in the category Special Visual Effects and the category for Hair and Make Up.
It’s nice to see Harry Potter films getting a nod, as i find the lack of their presence at awards ceremonies ridiculous. But anyway, yay! I hope they at least get one Bafta.

It has just been revealed that Anne Hathaway will play the beautiful badass Catwoman in the new film The Dark Knight Rises.
She beat Keira Knightley and Jessica Biel for the role. So finally we have our female baddie for the dark knight rises.
Check out Anne Hathaway and James Franco when they host the 2011 Oscars on February 27th.

Anne Hathway reportedly said she would be glad to play Kurt’s gay aunt on Glee.
Anne got talking to executive producer of Glee, Brad Falchuck at the Golden Globes. They were talking about how she wanted to appear on the show and within no time she was confirmed to appear as Kurt’s lesbian aunt.
When it will record has yet to be revealed, but I already can’t wait to see this episode.

The Golden Globes are here and gone and they have left us with some controversy.
Personally I found Ricky Gervais incredibly funny and I didn’t think it seemed as if anyone minded his humour but apparently I was wrong. I think every one has blown this out of proportion and anyway, the host has to be entertaining and funny, a little bit of roasting is to be expected at awards shows like this. They hired a comedian, it’s what he does!
Anyway, I’m thrilled Natalie Portman won best actress in a drama film for Black Swan. There’s no doubt she deserved it. I’m also delighted that Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch won best supporting actor and actress in a TV comedy/musical.
Looking to the future now, we have the Oscars on February 27th which will be hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco. They’re going to be amazing. Franco’s humour should compliment Anne’s fiesty elegance and i think it’s going to be a big success this year.
Just a post to give my views on the Golden Globe/Gervais controversy.
:-)
Incase you haven’t already seen this. Feast your eyes on the lovely Edward and Bella in an official still from Breaking Dawn.

The actresses in the running to be cast in 2 lead female roles in the new Batman: The Dark Knight Rises have been revealed.

Keira Knightley,Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel,Charlotte Riley, Gemma Aerton and Kate Mara will battle it out for on of two roles. Christopher Nolan is casting for the love interest and the female villain.
I’m not sure about any of these actresses in a Batman film, though I could see Jessica Biel as playing the love interest, as for the baddie, i’m not sure if any of these actresses can pull it off but we’ll just have to wait and see.
Owen Wilson and Jade Duell have welcomed a baby boy into the world. Jade gave birth to Ford Linton Wilson on Friday in Hawaii, and only a few details have been revealed. Only recently has it been revealed that Owen was soon to be a dad.
Jade, an armed federal air marshal, had an 18 hour labour. Ford came in to the world

The couple are incredibly happy and a close friend has said that Owen was doing a celebratory hula dance.
Congratulations Owen, Jade and baby Ford Linton Wilson.
Here’s the first image of Andrew Garfield in his new role as Spiderman. I don’t think he looks too shabby. What do you think?

Since the awards show is on tomorrow I think we should take a look at the nominees, and possibly debate about them also. Ricky Gervais does his encore as he presents the awards show again.
And here are the nominees….
Best Motion Picture - Drama
Black Swan
The Fighter
Inception
The King’s Speech
The Social Network.
Personally my choice would be Black Swan for its originality, creativeness, amazing cast and its brilliant story of a girl fighting for perfection. Although I think Inception might take this award home. Inception was a cracker of a film, it was fast paced, edge of your seat viewing and it got your brain working while watching it. So personally I think it should be between these two films.
Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture - Drama
Halle Berry - Frankie and Alice
Nicole Kidman-Rabbit Hole
Jennifer Lawrence-Winter’s Bone
Natalie Portman-Black Swan
Michelle Williams-Blue Valentine
Natalie Portman, what can I say about this woman. She is so talented, every films he’s in she steals the show. I want her to win this so bad but I think Michelle Williams could give her a run for her money. What do you think?
Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical
Alice In Wonderland
Burlesque
The Kids Are Alright
RED
The Tourist
This is a tough one. I loved Alice In Wonderland, but I knew what was coming because i’m used to Tim Burton’s films by now. The cinematography and the effects were really nice and the costumes were amazing.
I really enjoyed RED. What a cast! You’ve got Bruce Willis, John Malkovich„ Helen Mirren and Morgan Freeman. It couldn’t go wrong. It’s just a kickass comedy.
The Tourist surprised me. I didn’t think it would be as good as it was but i genuinely thought it was fun and interesting. Johnny Depp’s quiet, shy, american character was a welcome break from his English pirate roles and various Tim Burton creations. Angelina Jolie didn’t cut it for me. Her character didn’t do much, and her ‘i’m a sexy-mysterious-sexy British lady’ air didn’t impress me. Johnny Depp owned that film.
Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy
Annette Bening - The Kids Are Alright
Anne Hathaway - Love and Other Drugs
Angelina Jolie - The Tourist
Julianne Moore - The Kids Are Alright
Emma Stone - Easy A
I am so happy that Emma Stone is a nominee. I haven’t seen a female fronted comedy this good since Mean Girls. Usually they just don’t work that well but Easy A was brilliant. Although I hope Emma gets it i think Anne Hathaway may have this one in the bag. The buzz about Love and Other Drugs is pretty big and there’s a lot of talk about it. Julianne Moore is a favourite of mine, but I don’t think she’s going to get this one.
Best Performance By An Actor In A Motion Picture -Comedy or Musical
Johnny Depp - Alice In Wonderland
Johnny Depp - The Tourist
Paul Giamatti - Barney’s Version
Jake Gyllenhaal - Love and Other Drugs
Kevin Spacey - Casino Jack
Johnny Depp will win this. Well i’m almost certain he will, but i think he may have competition with Jake Gyllenhaal. I would put my money on Depp though. Who would you put your money on?
Best Animated Feature Film
Despicable Me
How To Train Your Dragon
The Illusionist
Tangled
Toy Story 3
They should just give Toy Story 3 the award now because there is no way in hell that this film isn’t going to get this award. Despicable Me was a great animation, it should win purely because Agnes is awesome. Tangled is getting brilliant reviews and if Toy Story were to lose, which it wont, it would be to Tangled.
Best Director Motion Picture
Darren Aronofsky - Black Swan
David Fincher - The Social Network
Tom Hooper - The King’s Speech
Christopher Nolan - Inception
David O.Russell - The Fighter
I want Aronofsky to get this because Black Swan left me speechless after i watched it, Inception will probably win this but i honestly think Black Swan should get it.
Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical
30 Rock
The Big Bang Theory
Glee
Modern Family
Nurse Jackie
Glee will probably walk away with this, and I love Glee but I would love to see Modern Family or 30 rick get this award. Glee has become sort of predictable but I think Kurt and Blaine could save the show from becoming boring.
Best Performance By An Actor In A Television Series - Comedy or Musical
Alec Baldwin - 30 Rock
Steve Carrell - The Office
Thomas Jane - Hung
Matthew Morrison - Glee
Jim Parsons - The Big Bang Theory
Steve Carrell should rightfully be handed this award. His last season of The Office and i don’t know how they’re going to get away with this. He’s the heart of the show. An amazing actor, I want him to get this.
These are most of the categories, so do you agree? Do you disagree? Who do you think should

The Mortal Instruments is a series of books by author Cassandra Clare. So far there are 3 books in the series and the fourth ill be released on April 5th.

The books are being made into films at the moment the first being City of Bones. It’s about a girl Clary Fray, a red headed ‘mundane’ ( a person who has no magical/mythical abilities or shadowhunter blood) who lives in New York. She is dragged deeper into the underworld of NYC where demons and Shadowhunters walk among humans but are invisible due to a ‘glimmer’ that surrounds them.
When Clary is exposed to this new world of witches, faeries, shadowhunters, vampires, werewolves and a whole bunch of other magical and mythical beings she has to also deal with finding her mother who has been taken by the baddie of the story,Valentine.
With the help of the Shadowhunters, and the heart throb of the story, Jace Wayland they must find what they need to rescue her mother. Along the way secrets are revealed and love triangles appear.
Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight saga, has said that this is ‘ a story world i love.’ It’s the perfect mix of our modern world and the magical world we love to read about. City of Bones is also a New York Times best seller.
The only cast member that has been revealed so far is the leading lady, Clarissa Fray, who will be played by Lily Collins.

MTV have gotten behind this film 100% they love this series and have even set up a petition to get Alex Pettyfer to play the gorgeous shadowhunter Jace Wayland. He fits the description down to a tee and they would be stupid not to cast him as so many fans want him to play the cheeky character.

Information about the film is being kept heavily under wraps, but i do know that if they get the casting right then this film is going to be hugely succesful. The books are incredible, well worth a read.
I’m going to keep a close eye on the progress of this film, just so you know.
I seem to be on pregnant watch these last couple of days as more women from the silver screen reveal that they are pregnant.

Alicia Silverstone is the latest actress to drop the B bomb. The ‘Clueless’ star has been with her husband, Christopher Jarecki, for 5 years although they dated for 8 years before their marriage in June 2005.
Who will be the next actress to let us know she’s impregnated? I’m sure it wont be long until we find out.

Kate and Matt the lead singer of Muse are expecting their first child together. The two join Marion Cotillard, Natalie Portman and Victoria Beckham in this years celebrity baby boom.
Kate already has a 7 year old from a previous relationship
A release date for the 23rd James Bond film has been set.

The film is due for release November 9th 2012 and Daniel Craig will be back to reclaim his license to kill. The film has no title yet but Sam Mendes will take on the task of directing this instalment.
Fans are saying that Mendes directing may be a bad decision as they think he will make the film boring and safe. It has been said that the Bond films need action directors who have experience with action films and aren’t afraid to try out new things and go a bit over the top.
Martin Campbell seems to be the ideal director as he directed Casino Royale and Golden Eye and gave the films a bit of a reboot.
It looks like this year could be the year of the babes.
Recently Natalie and Marion have revealed that they are to become two of the most beautiful and talented mothers around right now.
Natalie, who is the star of the amazing must-see film of the year ‘Black Swan’, has been dating choreographer Benjamin Millepied for a while now and he has recently proposed. The two met during the production of Black Swan.

The French beauty Marion Cotillard is also pregnant with her first child. Marion who appeared in Inception and who starred in the award winning La Vie En Rose is pregnant with her actor/director boyfriend Guillame Canet. The two„ like Natalie and Benjamin, met on the set of their film I Dare You To Love Me.

I wish them all the best and happy healthy pregnancies!

We say goodbye to yet another amazingly talented actor at just 64 years old. Pete is a film legend having appeared in Romeo and Juliette, The Usual Suspects, Inception, Jurassic Park, The Omen, The Constant Gardner and many many more.

I’m too excited and everyone has to know. That is all.
